YORK, Pa. (WHTM) -- It's not something that happens every day. Or -- for that matter -- more than once every 69 years. But a statewide meeting of history experts and buffs will indeed be here next week.

"So we're very grateful that the PHA" -- the Pennsylvania Historical Association -- "has chosen York," said Adam Bentz, who is the director of library and archives at the York County History Center.

Bentz, who is also a PHA vice-president, said that 1956 meeting was the only such event in York dating back to the PHA's first meetings in the 1930s.
