KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Chappell Roan, a Missouri native, kicked off her Kansas City pop-up concert at Liberty Memorial, drawing fans who lined up as early as 9 a.m.
The concert is part of a series of pop-up shows in three cities, including New York and Los Angeles, with Kansas City being one of the chosen locations.
Brooklin Hatley, a fan attending the concert, expressed the special significance of the event, noting, "I think it's special because it's her hometown, her home state, it's also mine. So it's very, very special."
Fans showed up in themed attire, sporting pink cowgirl hats and 'Midwest Princess' sashes, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The gates opened just before 4 PM, and fans sprinted up the hill to secure spots close to the stage.
