A former NSW Police officer who allegedly killed two men says he is “remorseful” and “will not be silenced” during a bizarre courtroom outburst.

Beau Lamarre-Condon, who has pleaded not guilty to murdering his ex-boyfriend Jesse Baird and partner Luke Davies in Sydney last year, interrupted proceedings during an arraignment in the NSW Supreme Court on Friday morning.

Appearing via video link, in a prepared statement Lamarre-Condon, 29, claimed he offered the Department of Public Prosecutions (DPP) a deal to plead guilty to the manslaughter of Baird only, but that was rejected.

He said that showed he was “remorseful” and “did take responsibility” for what happened and was therefore entitled to the benefits of an “early plea”.
