It looks like Lake Michigan College has am early frontrunner for the position of president, just a month after current President Trevor Kubatzke announced his retirement.
The LMC Board of Trustees says it’s considering Dr. Ken Flowers, the executive vice president, for the post and is inviting the entire community to attend a forum with him this month.
Kubatzke tells us the board has hired the Pauly Group out of Illinois to lead the search for a president, but much time and money could be saved if an internal candidate fits the bill. So, there will be an interview with Flowers on October 16.
“ The Pauly Group will be here for the interviews on the 16th to evaluate and get feedback, and they’ll provide that to the board,” Kubatzke said. “
