With seven Bruins prospects in uniform for Boston College and Quinnipiac, you knew there was a good chance that at least one of them would have an impact on the college hockey season-opener at Kelley Rink on Friday night.

And on this night, two Boston draftees for the Bobcats won out over the five that were playing for BC, leading Quinnipiac to a 4-3 win over preseason No. 6 team in the nation.
