DODGEVILLE, Wis. (WKOW) — After 97 years, Quality Bakery, a beloved fixture in Dodgeville, is closing its doors. The community is gathering to say goodbye to this piece of local history.
Since the closure announcement, lines have been forming outside the bakery before sunrise. Some customers are driving from out of state, waiting for hours to grab one last donut.
"You could hear semis on Main Street, like honking at these people, like they were getting semi drivers a honk. And I'm like, It's 3:30 in the morning," a local resident said.
