Two people died in two separate accidents involving motorcycles and a bus and a tractor trolley, respectively, in Delhi this week, the police said on Friday.

On Friday, a 57-year-old man on his way to work was killed after his motorcycle was hit by a bus in Okhla Phase-1. The police said the accident occurred at around 2.50 pm in front of the Tehkhand Bus Depot.

The police identified the deceased as Dashrath Singh Ojha, a resident of Vikas Nagar in West Delhi . He was riding his motorcycle and was headed towards the ESIC hospital for his guard duty when he was struck by a bus coming from the Tehkhand side, the police said. Investigators said he came under the rear right tyre of the vehicle and died on the spot.

The police identified the bus driver as Rama Kant, a resident of Mohan Bab
