More flotillas will follow the last, but the hope they generate isn’t enough

The ragged 40-vessel flotilla that set out in August to break Israel’s 16-year-long blockade on the movement of goods in Gaza knew it was undertaking a mission impossible. But, with a famine taking hold and infants starving to death, those taking part were determined to face down the full force of the IDF.
