The National Weather Service issued a freeze watch at 10:54 p.m. on Friday valid for Monday between midnight and 10 a.m. for Wallowa County.

The weather service says, “Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 29 degrees possible for Wallowa Valley.”

“Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing,” describes the weather service. “Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.”
