Hyderabad: Amid high tension, the teams of Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (Hydraa) on Saturday reclaimed 36 acres of government land at Bikshapathi Nagar in Kondapur.

Farmers claimed they did not encroach on the land, and the government distributed pattas in their names. A heated argument ensued between Hydraa teams and the farmers, who attempted to resist the JCBs. The occupants also claimed that they have been staying over the past three decades.
