Ludington Woods is inviting the public to its fundraiser event, ‘At the Woods Fall Market,’ which will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, at Ludington Woods Assisted Living and Memory Care, 502 N. Sherman Street.

Shoppers can look forward to lots of great handmade gift items and other goods made by local artisans, crafters and bakers. Hitchhiker Coffee Truck also will be on site.

Residents at Ludington Woods are truly excited about the upcoming craft show, and some of them have been very busy maki. ng their own creative craft items to sell.

Georgia, who is 90, has been spending time contentedly crocheting dish scrubbies, 50 of them.

She said she’s probably spent a month making the scrubbies.
