LUDINGTON — Every soccer team in the state is hoping to round into form as the Michigan High School Athletic Association District rounds kick off.
The Ludington boys varsity soccer team is no different as it opens MHSAA Division 2 District 18 action today at Oriole Field against Greenville.
“The message this week has been now is the time that we need to be playing our best,” Orioles head coach Kristofer Anderson said. “We have been talking all season about it being a journey and now we are closing in on the end of that journey.”
After finishing the regular season at 12-7-2, the Orioles realize how much is riding on each game and their not overlooking anyone. Even Greenville, who has had a subpar season, finishing at 2-12-4 overall. It was 0-7 in River Cities Alliance action.
