Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s much-anticipated romance comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari was released on Dussehra, October 2. The film, which also stars Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra , grossed nearly Rs 9 crore thanks to its debut on a public holiday. But on its second day at the box office, it saw a significant drop in earnings.

The Shashank Khaitan-directed film grossed only Rs 5.25 crore on Friday, according to early estimates from Sacnilk. While a dip in footfall was expected after the holiday, the slowdown in collections has been a raising concern. But it is predicted that the film might pick up during the weekend.
