The Buffalo Sabres confirmed to The Buffalo News on Friday that Adam Mair is no longer with the organization after his arraignment Thursday on drunk-driving charges in Monroe County.
Mair was the Sabres' director of player development and had been with the organization in multiple roles since 2015. He played for the Sabres from 2002-10.
“We will evaluate the best fit for that role moving forward,” the Sabres said in a statement. “In the interim, the current player development staff will continue to handle the responsibilities of their positions.”
