SOLON, Ohio — Solon Schools once again set the academic standard in Ohio, topping all traditional public districts on the state’s 2024-25 report card with the highest achievement score and an overall 5-star rating.

The district earned a Performance Index Score of 112.8 — the top score among traditional public schools statewide . Solon was one of only 47 districts in Ohio to achieve a 5-star overall rating. The Ohio School Report Cards evaluate districts using a star system across several measures, including achievement, progress, gap closing, graduation rates, early literacy, and college, career, workforce, and military readiness.

Superintendent Fred Bolden said the results highlight the dedication of students, staff, and families who work together to ensure every child succeeds.
