LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The St. James Court fountain and the crowds are sights and sounds familiar to those returning to the St. James Court Art Show in Old Louisville. The annual show celebrates its 69th anniversary this year.

Artist LeeAnn Brown made her fifth trip back to Louisville for the art show from Buckhannon, West Virginia. She returned with her heirloom footstools.

"Today I was really pleased because I had a young couple who bought a footstool last year," Brown said. "Funny story, their daughter adopted it and it's hers, so they had to come back and buy another one for the family."

Laurie Pollpeter Eskenazi brought her ceramics from West Chicago, Illinois, a trip she has made for more than 10 years.
