LINN COUNTY, Iowa - A multi-vehicle crash Friday night sent one person to the hospital.

The Linn County Sheriff's Office says it happened around 9 pm at the intersection of 80th Street and Williams Boulevard. Deputies say a southbound Ford Escape failed to stop at the stop sign and hit a Chevy Sonic, then crashed into a Ford Taurus.

Investigators say the juvenile driver of the Escape was unharmed and is charged with traffic violations. Two adults in the Taurus were also unhurt.

The Sheriff's Office says the driver of the Sonic, Elisabeth Turner, 37 of Marengo, suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The accident shut down a portion of Williams Boulevard for about an hour.
