The Dare County Library invites members of the community to attend a free, in-person event featuring award-winning and best-selling author Brad Parks at the Kill Devil Hills Library branch (400 Mustian Street) from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, October 6, 2025.

Parks—who is the international bestselling author of “The Boundaries We Cross,” “Say Nothing” and the award-winning Carter Ross mystery series—is the only writer to have won the Shamus, Nero and Lefty Awards, three of American crime fiction’s most prestigious prizes.
