KINGWOOD, W.Va. (WBOY) — Calls to Preston County 911 are being redirected to a different 911 center as the location experiences a 'complete telephone outage.'
According to a Facebook post by the Preston County E-911/Office of Emergency Management Saturday morning, Frontier Communications is investigating and secondary communication lines are also impacted by this outage.
Any 911 calls received are being redirected to another 911 center and information will be given to Preston County 911 by "alternate sources" according to the post.
The post also states that residential phone lines and internet could be impacted as well.
