DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A deal was struck between students and the principal of Hayes Elementary School.

That deal was if the students hit a 95% student attendance rate, the principal would chop off his luscious locks as a prize.

Friday, with some teamwork and dedication the students celebrated as the locks came off.
