CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - A juvenile has been charged with traffic offences after causing a multi-vehicle crash in Linn County Friday night.

Linn County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of 80th Street and Williams Boulevard around 9 p.m. Friday.

A juvenile driving a Ford Escape had failed to stop at a stop sign on 80th Street and hit a car driving on Williams Boulevard. The vehicle then crashed into a third vehicle.

The juvenile was not hurt in the crash and was charged with traffic offences.

The person driving the second car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. That was the only occupant in that vehicle.

The third car had two occupants. Both were uninjured.

The crash partially closed the roadway for about an hour.
