ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - An Anderson County man has been sentenced to decades behind bars on a child rape charge, according to 7th District Attorney General Dave Clark.

Clark said 63-year-old Kevin L. Renville was sentenced to 30 years in prison on one count of rape of a child.

Renville pleaded guilty to the charge back in March, Clark said.

“We are grateful for the extraordinary work done by Detective Luethge of the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, Assistant District Attorney Sarah W. Keith and Victim Witness Coordinator Katherine Sellers for bringing justice to the victim and her family in this case,” Clark said.

The case was investigated by ACSO, Detective Luethge and the Child Advocacy Center of Anderson County.
