DENVER (KDVR) — A Denver woman, who lost limbs after a snake bite, has started a therapy group for others also facing physical challenges.

Demetria Skipper says she failed to seek medical attention quickly enough after being bitten by that snake, which forced the amputation of some limbs, including her hands.

She has recently started a therapy group for other people facing physical disabilities.

If you would like to donate to help with Skipper’s continuing medical costs and living expenses, you can do so through this link to GoFundMe.
