Dehradun District has observed a rise in dengue cases, with nine new positive cases reported on Saturday. The Dehradun chief medical officer Dr Manoj Kumar Sharma stated that among the nine new cases, four were identified at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, four at Himalayan Hospital and one at Kailash Hospital. This brings the cumulative number of dengue cases to 559, with 263 originating from Dehradun and 296 reported from other districts and States.
Currently, there are 22 patients receiving treatment for dengue. Of these, 11 are hospitalised at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, eight at Himalayan Hospital, one at Graphic Era Hospital and two at Kailash Hospital.
