MARK Sanchez has been stabbed and remains in the hospital with critical injuries, according to reports.

The former quarterback was rushed to the hospital after the violent incident unfolded in Indianapolis.

Police received a call around 12:30am on Saturday in downtown Indianapolis for two injured people, TMZ reports.

At least one of them, now identified by the news outlet as Sanchez, is believed to have been stabbed in the altercation.

He was then reportedly rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

It is not yet clear what led to the incident.

The No. 5 overall pick in the 2009 NFL draft was in Indianapolis to cover the Colts vs. Raiders game at the Lucas Oil Stadium for FOX Sports on Sunday.
