MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas (CW39) — A woman is facing multiple felony charges after investigators uncovered what they call a "complex property fraud scheme" in Montgomery County.

According to the official statement posted to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Facebook page, Alba Zuyapa Martinez was arrested and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on October 2, 2025, following an investigation led by numerous authority agencies that began earlier this year. Now Martinez faces multiple charges including forgery, theft, and fraud.
