PULLMAN, Wash. – A Life Flight helicopter flew one person to a hospital after a car crash in Pullman next to the Alpine Animal.
According to a report from the Washington State Patrol, the crash happened when a woman driving a 2010 Mazda 3 pulled onto State Route 270 without turning on the car’s lights.
When she pulled onto the highway, her car was hit by a 2022 Hyundai Elantra driving east.
The woman, who is 57 years old, was Life Flighted to St. Joseph Medical Center.
The man in the other car, who is 19 years old, was transported to Gritman Hospital.
Both cars were totaled. The woman was charged for negligent driving.
