BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Sabres ended their preseason slate Friday night, and now all eyes are on the season opening game this Thursday.
The Sabres have made a few cuts to the roster, but are still above the roster limit, which needs to be at 23 players before Monday at 6 p.m.
After dropping a pair of preseason matchups to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday and Friday, the Sabres have sent four players to the Rochester Americans.
Forward Noah Ostlund and defensemen Vsevolod Komarov, Zach Metsa, and Radim Mrtka will now be joining training camp for the Americans.
