AUSTIN (KXAN) — Texas running back CJ Baxter has been ruled out of Saturday's game against Florida with a hamstring injury, but the Longhorns will get the other half of their dynamic running duo back.

Quintrevion Wisner, who hasn't played since the season opener against Ohio State, will play after being left off the latest injury report from the Southeastern Conference. He rushed for 80 yards on 16 carries against the Buckeyes in a 14-7 loss on Aug. 30 in Columbus, Ohio.

Wisner had been listed as probable on earlier reports.

Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian said he hoped both backs would be available for the SEC opener in Gainesville, but Christian Clark, Jerrick Gibson and Arch Manning can help spread the carries around, giving the offense the balance it needs.
