Authorities in Indiana said former NFL quarterback and FOX Sports analyst Mark Sanchez, 38, has been arrested for battery with injury after he was reportedly stabbed and hospitalized this weekend.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said Sanchez was also arrested for unlawful entry of a motor vehicle and public intoxication, all of which are misdemeanors.

Authorities said Sanchez remains in the hospital and has not been booked into the local adult detention center.

The Marion County prosecutor said a final charging decision will be made in the future.
