HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -- An Eagle Scout service project is benefitting veterans in the Midstate.

Edan Olsen, of Scouts BSA Troop 368, Harrisburg, built a shed for the Veterans Outreach of Pennsylvania community on Front Street in Harrisburg.

“I wanted my Eagle Scout project to give back to Veterans who have served our country,” said Olsen. “By building this shed, I hope to support VOPA’s important mission and make a lasting impact for years to come.” • Photo Courtesy / Diane McNaughton • Photo Courtesy / Diane McNaughton

The 12' x 16' storage shed will provide a space for donated clothes, paper products, and other supplies for the veterans community.

State Rep. Joe Kerwin (R-Dauphin) joined Olsen and others for a ribbon cutting Saturday afternoon.
