BRISCOE COUNTY, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Texas A&M Forest Service reports that crews are working on a fire in Briscoe County. The fire, labeled the "Tule" fire, is estimated to be 3,000 acres and 0% contained, according to the Texas A&M Forest Service.
Officials detailed that fire activity is high, and the head of the fire has moved into the canyon.
TxDOT officials in the area ask drivers to avoid SH 207 north near Lake McKenzie in Briscoe County if possible due to the fire.
