Eighth house falls in Buxton

Update: The Cape Hatteras National Seashore has now reported that an unoccupied house collapsed shortly before 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2 at 46221 Tower Circle Road, Buxton. That marks the eighth oceanfront house to collapse in Buxton since Tuesday afternoon amid the impacts of Humberto and Imelda.
