ANN ARBOR — Bryce Underwood had the best passing performance of his brief Michigan career on Saturday. His opponents were impressed.
“To be honest, he’s going to be a first pick, in my opinion,” Wisconsin defensive lineman Jay’viar Suggs said after Michigan’s 24-10 win. “He’s got everything. He’s big, fast, can throw. He put some dots on some of the receivers — just (some) dropped balls or some of his timing was off.
“True freshman, 18 years old, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s the first pick (of the NFL draft) one day.”
Suggs, a Flint native who played at Clarkston High School, is in his sixth season of college football. He started his career at Grand Valley State and played in 12 games for LSU last season.
