ANN ARBOR – The Wolverines hit some early stumbling blocks, but eventually overcame the nation’s best run defense Saturday, defeating Wisconsin 24-10.

Running back Justice Haynes turned a 43-yard gain – the longest run the Badgers have allowed this season - into the Wolverines’ first touchdown. Haynes tallied 117 of the Wolverines’ 175 ground gains.

As Michigan’s offense struggled to find its rhythm early on, wide receiver Donaven McCulley lit the fuse , hauling in a pair of critical catches and recording his first touchdown as a Wolverine.

Quarterback Bryce Underwood completed 19 of his 28 passes for a career-high 270 yards and a touchdown.

Michigan improves to 2-0 in Big Ten play and will travel to face USC next Saturday, Oct. 11
