NOXEN — Patriots Cove hosted its 7th annual fundraiser, the Fish for the Fallen Tournament, on Saturday , Oct. 4 . Each year, the event brings veterans and first responders back to the water for a day of fishing and competition.

Veterans and first responders fish in memory of fallen heroes. Sponsored teams include two fishers and a Patriots Cove fishing guide. The organization provides fishing equipment and meals, as well as access to fish the mile-long trout stream. Teams compete for prizes and trophies and enjoy the great outdoors. The day also includes an award ceremony and memorial service.

The tournament’s proceeds support operations, activities and events for injured veterans, first responders, and their caregivers at Patriots Cove.
