KINGSTON — Yankees rookie pitcher Cam Schlittler’s masterpiece the other night begged for one of those “special” tabloid headlines.

“Schlitt happens!”

But headline-writing editors restrained themselves and went with more, shall we say, appropriate headlines.

Doesn’t really matter. To Yankees’ fans everywhere, any victory over the arch-enemy Red Sox calls for a celebration.

Even if it is short-lived — the Yanks always have a difficult time beating the Blue Jays.

But as Yogi might say, “Ya never know until ya know.”

So we will adopt that other Yogi-ism and subscribe to the “it’s never over ‘til it’s over” philosophy.

Besides, Juan Soto is probably in Cancun by now, and that, as well, is a very good thing.

But MLB’s postseason is a special time, and I can’t wait to watch every single
