The Decatur Police Department is investigating after one man was killed in a shooting on Saturday afternoon.

Officers responded to the 1900 block of Mud Tavern Road around 3 p.m. and found an unresponsive male. Morgan county coroner Jeff Chunn pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

One person was detained for questioning. Police continue to investigate.
