TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Ty Simpson threw for 340 yards and Jam Miller rushed for 136 as the Tide rolled over the Commodores, 30-14.

Diego Pavia and Vanderbilt looked primed to upset Alabama early in the first half, but some costly turnovers swung the momentum in the other direction.

The teams were tied, 14-14, at the half.

Simpson connected on two touchdown passes, one to Ryan Williams and the other to Germie Bernad.

Kalen DeBoer's team outscored Vanderbilt 16-0 in the second half.

With the win, Alabama moves to 4-1 on the season and 2-0 in SEC play.

The Tide will hit the road next weekend to take on Missouri in Columbia at 11 a.m.
