ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - Orangeburg County Coroner Sean Fogle released the identity of two victims of a fatal collision that happened early Saturday morning in Orangeburg County

Coroner Fogle identified the victims as 55-year-old Tyrone C. Tyler, who was the moped driver, and 70-year-old Audrey Hill, who was the passenger

The crash took place on Friday at 2:25 a.m. on US 301 near Jernigan Drive, about one and a half miles from the city, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

SCHP says two people on a moped were traveling south when they were hit from behind by a 2021 Kia sedan.

Authorities said the two people who were on the moped died at the scene of the collision. No one in the car was hurt.

The incident remains under investigation by the SCHP.
