CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Century Casino Cape Girardeau hosted the 7th Annual Electric Vehicle Show on Saturday.

For four hours, attendees and vehicle owners admired the technology and variety of electric vehicles.

Ameren offered a free ride and drive event during the show.

The event is meant to show off the benefits and availability of electric vehicles.

Event planner, Jackie Ritkard, discussed the history of the event, “It’s definitely grown, and it’s exciting to see. I think this one has been the best one so far.”

The event featured a children’s activity area that featured electric scooters and an EV racing simulator.
