NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - First responders were dispatched to Ashland City Highway at around 1 p.m. on Saturday for reports of a parachute jumper in distress.
At the time, Ron Ulus found himself in the area.
“I just saw all the trucks down here. It’s a friend of a friend’s property. I thought something was wrong with his property,” Ulus said.
Authorities say that while skydiving, an instructor and another skydiver were separated from a tandem rig at the plane.
The skydiving client was found lodged in a tree with an open parachute in a wooded area in the 4500 block of Ashland City Highway. He was safely removed from the tree by Nashville Fire personnel.
