NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH, Mass. —

One person was injured after a crash sent a car careening into the attached garage of a home in North Attleboro on Saturday night.

According to the North Attleboro Fire Department, the crash occurred just before 7 p.m. at the intersection of North Ave and Robert F Toner Blvd. As a result of the initial crash, one of the vehicles involved crashed through a fence and struck the attached garage at the home at 296 Commonwealth Ave.

The impact of the crash caused significant damage to the garage, however the main residence was determined to be safe to occupy by the building inspector. Nobody was inside the home at the time of the crash.

The driver of the car that struck the home suffered minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
