COLUMBUS, Ohio — What began as a potential quarterback duel Saturday night at The Horseshoe quickly turned into a showcase for the Buckeyes’ offense. Julian Sayin put up 326 yards and three touchdowns on 23 of 27 passing and Ohio State rolled in a 42-3 rout of the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Minnesota struck first, with quarterback Drake Lindsey engineering an opening drive that ended in a 27-yard field goal. It would be the Golden Gophers’ only score of the game.

Ohio State’s offense answered immediately.
