New Delhi: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) has revised the package rates of its scheme that reimburses various healthcare expenses of central government employees and pensioners.

Issuing an office memorandum Dr Satheesh Y. H, Director of the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) notified that all healthcare services availed at CGHS-empanelled Healthcare Organisations have been “revised and will be effective from October 13, 2025.”

“Revised rates have been rationalised based on accreditation status, hospital type, city classification and ward entitlement,” the notice added.

However, cancer surgeries have been excluded from the revision and will continue to operate under the existing CGHS rules and rates.
