The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday (October 4) announced Shubman Gill as the new captain of India’s ODI team. The right-handed batter from Punjab replaced Rohit for the top job despite him winning the ICC Champions Trophy title in his last series as India captain. After Rohit was removed as India’s ODI captain, his 13-year-old went viral.
