KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Rain chances are low as we close out the weekend, but there is some change on the way for the week ahead as a cold front brings our next chance of rain and a cool down.

Sunday : Sunshine returns and we are in for another warm afternoon with temperatures reaching the lower 80s. A few more clouds stream into the region late this afternoon leading to a stray shower or two over the mountains.

Sunday Night : A few showers will be possible during the early evening hours before coming to an end tonight. Some patchy fog will be possible by Monday morning. Lows won’t be quite as cool with most in the upper 50s to lower 60s.

Monday : A mostly sunny sky turns partly cloudy by the afternoon. Temperatures will be warm with highs reaching the 80s.
