:Social activist and education reformer Sonam Wangchuk, currently imprisoned in Jodhpur Central Jail under the National Security Act (NSA), has sent a message from jail demanding an independent judicial inquiry into the killing of four people during the recent Leh violence. He has said that he is ready to remain in jail until the investigation is done.
Brother and Lawyer meet Wangchuk in Jodhpur jail
On Saturday, Wangchuk was visited by his elder brother Tsetan Dorje Leh and lawyer Mustafa Haji after obtaining special permission from the authorities.The meeting took place inside Jodhpur Central Jail, where Wangchuk has been lodged since September 26.
Advocate Mustafa Haji later shared details of the meeting on social media platform X, conveying Wangchuk’s message to the people of Ladakh
