Rain and strong thunderstorms are possible late Sunday. Wet weather sticks around to start the week, ushering in much cooler temperatures.
Omaha's Weather Leader has deemed Sunday and Monday as impact weather days with a chance for scattered showers and storms.
Scattered rain and storms will develop behind a cold front Sunday afternoon. Though the chance for severe storms is low, heavy rain and a few strong thunderstorms will be possible along and south of the I-80 corridor Sunday night. Localized flooding could occur with isolated rainfall totals up to 1.5 to 2.5+ inches possible Sunday night into Monday.
