OMAHA, Neb. —
Omaha police are investigating two shooting incidents Sunday morning that they say are connected.
Omaha police arrived at the Carter Lake Park around 3:30 a.m.
Officials said they found four people inside a vehicle that had been hit by bullets. Two or three of the passengers were treated for injuries from shrapnel, according to police.
Minutes later, officers found a shooting victim at Kelly's Liquor Store near 30th and Pinkney Streets. They were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Omaha Police Lt. William Dawson said officers at the liquor store determined that the victim at the store was connected to the shooting near Carter Lake Park.
Officials said they're still looking for a suspect. It's not clear what led to the shooting.
